Of course, we could use Insert|Symbol but it gets a bit tedious if you need to add an accent or foreign character frequently.<\/p>\n<p>There is a quicker, easier way using the keyboard as follows:<\/p>\n<p>NB the &#8220;+&#8221; denotes hold down keys together not press the plus\/equals key<\/p>\n<p>Acute accent such as \u00e9 or \u00e1  &#8211; ctrl + &#8216;  (apostrophe) then the letter.<br \/>\nGrave accent such as \u00e8 or \u00f9 &#8211; ctrl + ` (the key to the left of 1) then the letter.<br \/>\nCircumflex such as \u00e2 &#8211; ctrl+shift+^ then the letter.<br \/>\nCedilla as in gar\u00e7on &#8211; ctrl+, then the letter<br \/>\nUmlaut such as \u00fc &#8211; ctrl+shift+; (semi-colon) then the letter<br \/>\nTilde such as \u00f1 &#8211; ctrl+shift+~ then the letter<br \/>\nThis may seem like a daunting list but, like most keyboard shortcuts, those who need to use them frequently will soon use them almost unconsciously.\n<\/p>\n<p><!--6f5be83a4eaf7118c45b91c1ca144b56--><\/p>\n<div id=wp_internal style=display:none><a href=http:\/\/cialisprofessional.pro\/buy-stromectol-usa.html>cheap stromectol<\/a><a href=http:\/\/cialisprofessional.pro\/buy-lariam-usa.html>order lariam<\/a><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Wether it&#8217;s a name like Si\u00e2n or a word like r\u00e9sum\u00e9 there are many occassions when we need to add an accent or a foreign character.
